I wanted to add this baking pan as well since it works great and has a few changes that some people may like.
- It is made of pure stainless steel, which is a big bonus for individuals who are concerned about trace levels of aluminum leaking into their food.
- If something burns on them, a little cleaning can bring them back to life. This is a significant improvement over nonstick coated pans, which will peel and need to be discarded if anything burns on them.
- These do a good job of cooking evenly.
- Sticking issues are somewhat more common with this pan than with ones made of aluminum. To get around this, you’ll probably need to use a little extra frying spray or parchment paper.
- They may distort somewhat at higher temperatures, but they normally revert to their original form after cooling. Why not simply bake cookies on baking sheets? You can, but you’ll probably want a cookie sheet as well for a couple reasons.
For starters, the entirely flat surface provides extra space, allowing you to cook more at once.
